Jonathan Andrew Mitchell, 47, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at UNC Hospital at Chapel Hill.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2017 at noon at Mitchell Family Cemetery on Braswell Road in Rosewood.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Jonathan was born in Michigan on October 07, 1969 to Jacob and Corinne Clore Mitchell of Flint, Michigan.

In addition to his parents, Jonathan is survived by his brother, Joel Mitchell of Seven Springs; sisters, Jennifer Balcom (Aaron) of Michigan, Jill Barber (Jack) of Michigan and Jane Sols of Zebulon.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
