Cladye Muse Britton of Goldsboro, departed this life on August 1, 2017 at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Mrs. Britton was a retired educator in the Wayne County public school system.

She is survived by her husband of 57years , Joseph Britton, one daughter Cassandra Britton Daniels (Jeffrey) , two sons , Ronald Britton of New York, and Reginald Britton , of Goldsboro , one grandson Reginald Lamar Whitted of Goldsboro . Four sisters , two brothers and a host of nieces ,nephews and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday , August 5, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church , 318 Denmark St. Goldsboro , NC. Viewing is at 10:00 AM, services at 11:00 A.M.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
