Alice Sorel Dickinson, 70, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  A graveside service will follow at noon at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickinson was born in Massachusetts on December 13, 1945 to the late Wilfred and Laurida Sorel.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Dickinson; one son, Jimmy Walbert of Massachusetts and two grandchildren, Jenaye and Travis Walbert.

Professional services have been entrusted to Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
