Pikeville- Ada Frances Smith, 79, passed away Monday, May 01, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Smith was born in Johnston County on March 07, 1938 to the late Ellis and Alice Hinnant Wiggs.  She was a member of Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and past member of Faro Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, George Wade Smith; two sons, David Allen Smith of Pikeville and George Ronnie Smith of Pikeville and two sisters, Katie Gurley of Goldsboro and Christine Rouse and husband, Herbert of Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wade Smith.

A private service will be held at Bartlett Cemetery in Pikeville.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
