Michael Hugh Sweeney, 61, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Mr. Sweeney was born April 18, 1955 in New York.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Sweeney Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Sweeney; his mother, Rita Sweeney; two sons and four brothers.

A service will be held at a later date.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
