Robert Frederick Hayden

Pikeville- Robert Frederick Hayden, 86, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at his daughter's home in Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Goldsboro on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1 p.m.   The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial was held in Virginia.

Mr. Hayden was born in Massachusetts on April 19, 1932 to the late Edward and Alice Hart Hayden.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Driver Hayden; two daughters, Robyn Thilkey and husband, Wayne and Cynthia Wiley and husband, Brad; one sister, Carol Sutton of Virginia and two grandchildren, Hayden Dawes and wife, Brittany and Sydney Askew.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
