Linda Kay (Lipscomb) James

Linda Kay Lipscomb James, 72, of Pikeville went to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 09, 2019 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with her daughter, Pastor Chrystal McCullen officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.  A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.

Linda was a faithful member of Snow Hill Church of God.  She was retired from Cooper Standard and was a wonderful mother and loved her grandchildren dearly.  She will be missed by all.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Chrystal McCullen (Jimmy) of Fremont; son, Norman James (Angie Sauls) of Pikeville; brothers, George Lipscomb (Helene) of Goldsboro and Dennis Lipscomb (Janice) of Fremont; brother-in-law, Ronald Parrish of Dudley; six grandchildren, Robert McCullen, Ashley McCullen, Steven McCullen, Justin James, Dustin James and Jessica James (Chris Etheridge) and three great-grandchildren, Caleb McCullen, Braxton James and Jackson Etheridge.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Dessiree Dail Lipscomb; husband, Lonnie Ray James; brother, James Lipscomb and sisters, Vonnie Lipscomb, Ann Rose and Connie Parrish.
