Yvonne Manuel Parker, 92, of Goldsboro passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 at Goldsboro Assisted Living.

The family will receive friends, Monday, June 26, 2023 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Parker was born in Wayne County on March 27, 1931 to the late Shafter and Mamie Cobb Manuel. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Dudley. Mrs. Parker, along with her late husband, was the owner and operator of Guy Parker's BBQ.  She will be missed by all. 

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, John Eric Parker of Greensboro; one daughter, Annette Parker of Goldsboro; one sister, Carolyn Perkins of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Parker and a son, Clifton Lamont Parker.
