Wilma Arnder Obituary

Wilma Lee Arnder, 84, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at UNC Health Wayne.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Arnder was born in Surry County, NC to the late Robert Houston and Ethel Jeanette Doss Loftis.

She is survived by daughter, Laura L. Andrews and husband, Michael D. Andrews of Durham, NC; daughter, Deborah D. Hubbard and husband, Jeffrie Duane Hubbard of Goldsboro; son, Dr. Lance L. Arnder and wife, Leng L. Arnder of Goldsboro and Park City, Utah; son, Layne L. Arnder and wife, Myra Arnder of Hookerton, NC; brother, Dale Loftis of Knightdale, NC; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and her Brookdale Berkeley family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Retired Senior Master Sergeant (USAF) Donnie Gaston Arnder and two brothers, Jack Loftis and Bobby Loftis.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
