William Glenn Knight

William Glenn Knight, 68, of Goldsboro passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Mount Olive Center surrounded by his family. 

A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will greet friends following the service.  A private burial will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

He was born in New York on April 2, 1955 to the late Charles and Channie Kornegay Knight. He was a 1973 graduate of Southern Wayne High School and following his graduation he joined the United States Army.

Mr. Knight is survived by his wife, Dora Mae Knight; two sons, William Knight Jr. and Elliott McDuffie; three daughters, Eboli Knight, Shantelle Knight and Eboli Shantelle "El" Brown; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
