Wayne Osburn Sr. Obituary
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, Robert Wayne Osburn, Sr. left us to meet God and his wife Nancy.
Wayne was a very humble man who was a father to all he met. His sly sense of humor formed a part of his charm that was loved by all who were privileged enough to meet him. He loved to sit on the front porch and watch the birds while listening and singing to music especially Yacht Rock. He loved spending time with his family and sharing stories of his experiences in life.
He was born in Newport, Arkansas but raised his children with his wife, Nancy in Hampton, Virginia.
His three children and their spouses, Robert & Melissa, Nathan & Janet and Niki & Shayne; seven grandchildren, Thomas & Hayley, Matthew & Cari, Christian & Cheyenne, Sean, Joshua & Kensey, Christian, Jessica & Seth, and three great-grandchildren, Finlee, Hudson and Isaiah celebrate his life each and every day.
He left us with a legacy of kindness, forgiveness and the love of others.
Services will be held at a later date.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
