Staff Sergeant Kenneth Eugene Brown, United States Air Force, Retired, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with full military honors. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Kenneth was born in Union County, Kentucky on August 6, 1953 to the late Oliver and Mary Duff Brown. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force retiring after 20 years of service as Staff Sergeant.
He is survived by three daughters, Kim Edwards (Okie), Karen Gurganus (Joseph) and Olivia Rose (Roger); two brothers, Mike Brown (Leea) and Billy Brown; two sisters, Helen Brown and Liz Owens; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with two on the way.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Raynoo Brown and two brothers, Jeff Brown and Jerry Brown.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
