Ryan Johnson

John Ryan Johnson, 21, of Goldsboro passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021.

A Remembrance Ceremony will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Ryan was born in Rhode Island on February 14, 2000 to Sonya Massey Johnson and the late John G. Johnson. 

Ryan enjoyed his dogs, especially Lily, his friends, Ariana Grande, shopping and his door dash. Ryan never met a stranger and would give whatever he had to whomever needed. He had a heart of gold. He knew how to get his way with mom (that smirk of his). 

He is survived by his mother, Sonya Johnson of Goldsboro; three brothers, Patrick Johnson of Goldsboro, Shayne Johnson of Rhode Island and Damian Johnson of Greenville; one sister, Tatiana Johnson of Goldsboro; his maternal grandmother, Linda Dimuccio of Warwick, Rhode Island; his maternal grandfather, James Massey of Princeton; his aunt, Barbara Bailey of Goldsboro and his two best friends, Naomi Padilla of Wilson and Samantha Cross of Goldsboro.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
