Robert "Bobby" Louis Woodley, 88, of Pikeville passed away Monday, June 23, 2025 at Goldsboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Grace Chapel Church Cemetery in Sanford.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Bobby was born in Washington County, North Carolina on March 5, 1937 to the late Edgar and Bessie Elliott Woodley.  He was a farmer and mechanic by trade- having retired from Sanford Ford.  Most dear to Bobby's heart was his loving family.   

He is survived by his children, Patricia "Annette" Wicker (Late Husband, Don), William "Charles" Whitehurst and wife, Jeannie; his step-children, Rita Cameron (Late Husband, David) and Ricky Poole and wife, Angela; his sister, Mary Alice Etheridge (Late Husband, Frank); two grandchildren, Crystal Glisson and husband, William and Tammy Person; nine step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Kayla Hallock and husband, Joe and Carter Person; 13 step-great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Woodley was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Barnes Woodley; his second wife, Barbara Jean Key Woodley and his daughter, Diane Godfrey and her husband, Wade Godfrey.
