Robert Floyd Hill

Robert Floyd Hill, 71, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at his home.

He was born to Floyd and Marjorie Hill in Lenoir County.  He loved his family and spending time with all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He loved the Lord and his church family, along with his family at Wilson Mold and Machine where he just retired.  Robert also loved his many special friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Logan Owens; brother, Craig Hill and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Edmundson and Buzzy Cole.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Hill; a son, Brad Hill (Jodie) of Wilson; a daughter, Amanda Davenport (Justin) of Wilson; brother, Donnie Hill (Gina) of Chocowinity; sister, Janice Cole of Snow Hill and sister-in-law, Patsy Hill of Snow Hill.  He is also survived by his amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special family pet, Bentley.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caretakers at 3HC in Goldsboro for their wonderful care. He loved all of them.

The family will receive friends, Monday, September 11, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial  Drive in Goldsboro.  A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
