Ricky Edwin Bass, 63, of Pikeville passed away Friday, December 22, 2023 at home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, December 27, 2023 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.
Ricky was born in Wilson County on October 23, 1960 to Hilda Sullivan Bass and the late Edwin "Bunk" Gray Bass. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from Bridgestone/Firestone of Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Hilda S. Bass of Pikeville; one son, Ty Bass (Erin) of Smithfield; two brothers, Keith Bass (Michele) of Stantonsburg and Roby Bass (Lyndsey) of Goldsboro; one sister, Panda Bass of Idaho and his beloved cat, Simba.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his loving dog, Little Girl.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
