Goldsboro- Jesse Randall “Randy” Chase, 52 of Goldsboro suddenly went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday evening, January 29, 2020 at his home.
Homegoing service will be held Sunday, February 02, 2020 at 2 p.m. at United In Christ Church in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Howell Cemetery, Stoney Creek Church Road.
He was born in Wayne County on June 06, 1967 to Jesse and Mamie Chase of Eureka.
Randy was a faithful member of United In Christ Church where he served as head usher and was current Sunday school superintendent. He was a dedicated employee with Food Lion of Pikeville for over 30 years. He retired from Eureka Fire Department after 20 years of service where he received Fireman of the Year for several years. Randy never met a stranger, always had a smile and was famous for giving out loving hugs to everyone he met.
In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by his loving wife, Scarlet Chase; one brother, Greg Chase and wife, Myla of Clayton; his niece and nephew, Lexie and Braxton Chase and his father and mother-in-law, Jimmy and Brenda Wall of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
