Patricia Emery

On Good Friday, April 15, 2022, Pat Emery, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully in the presence of family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.  

A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church in Goldsboro, NC. 

Pat was born in Revere, Massachusetts, to the late Patrick J. and Mary Joe Walsh.  

She lived a life of faith and service as member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she was involved with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Ladies Guild, served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was a dedicated volunteer with the soup kitchen and with over fifteen years of delivering Meals on Wheels.

Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gary Emery, her four children, Roselyne and husband Les Dant, Michelle and husband Billy Holland, Jim and wife Dena Emery, and Kim and husband Kyle Harper. Known as Nana, she has nine grandchildren, Michael and wife Megan Holland, Kayla and wife Jess Pausits, Matthew and wife Mackenzie Holland, Courtney Holland and fiancée Tim Stanczak, Patrick Emery and fiancée Daniel Hallbick, Simon Emery, Anna Emery, Alex Harper and Gabby Harper, as well as two great grandchildren, Hazel and Henry Holland. She is also survived by her siblings Jackie and husband Eddie Rochenski, Sharon and husband Michael Cataldo, and brother Patrick and wife Viesha Walsh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Mary Jo Walsh.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, or the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1603 Edgerton Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
