Patrick “Pat” Brantley Burnette, 56, of Fremont went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, October 25, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Pat was born in Henderson, North Carolina on July 8, 1965 to the late Keston Brantley and Rebecca Summerlin Burnette. He was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Louisburg. Most of all he was the proud owner and operator along with his wife of Pat & Mac’s Food Truck for over 10 years on William Street in Goldsboro. Pat's final act of caring for others was being an organ donor where his cornea's were donated to a person in need.
He is survived by his loving wife, Machelle Rae Burnette; two daughters, Brittany Carthen and husband, Brandon of Roxboro and Bailey Bowling and husband, Matthew of Roxboro; one sister, Lisa Baker Cook and husband, Ken of Garner; his granddaughter, Kennedy Reese Carthen; nephews, Taylor Baker and wife Charlotte, Travis Baker of Raleigh, his mother-in-law, Sandra Johnson of Statesville; sister-in law and husband, Dawn Wilson and husband, Tim of Troutman, special friends Bryan Taylor and Jodi Head of Goldsboro and his special fur-babies, Dixie, Lizzie and Callie. He was predeceased by his nephew Chris Baker.
