Mildred (Reese) Fluker

 Mildred Reese Fluker, 94, departed this walk of life Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Visitation will  be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

Mrs. Fluker was born in New York on October 8, 1925 to the late Robert Reese Sr. and Cora Byrd Reese.   She was a member of St. James A.M.E. Zion Church where she served as Deaconess.  She was retired from the Wayne County Public Schools System.

She is survived by three sons, Craig Fluker of New York, Fluke Fluker of California and David Coleman of Hawaii; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Fluker; three brothers and one sister.
