Michael Seth Morones

Michael Seth Morones, 19, of Raleigh passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at his home.

Michael was born in Cumberland County on June 23, 2002.

Michael was a creative whirlwind of a child. He was always writing down stories, drawing in notebooks, playing games with his brothers, and making friends with strangers. His heart was wide open, and his sense of humor was corny and loveable. He was always quick with hugs and snuggles. 

He is survived by his mother, Tiffany Longwith Morones and step-mom, Kara Bartow, his father, Ian Morones; two brothers, Angel and Xavier ; maternal grandmother, Melanie Fleming; paternal grandmother, Carri Morones; step-grandparents, David and Rebecca Bartow and a world full of other relatives and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Longwith.

The gathering to celebrate Michael and honor his story will be held on November 14th, 2021 from 2 pm- 5pm at 3313 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607

Attendees are asked to come as they are. Dress is casual/nice, whatever you find comfortable.

During our time together, we invite everyone to share a story about Michael, either before/after his TBI; something about Michael that has inspired them; or anything you believe will inspire/help others. You are also welcome to simply enjoy each other's company and listen to the sharing, if you do not wish to speak publicly. This will be a very casual and light gathering with minimal structure. We want it to be laid back much like Michael was. We plan to fill the air with music, laughter, and probably a few tears while gathering to celebrate Michael's life. All emotions are welcome.

There will be light refreshments.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
