Matthew Kelvin Mooring

Matthew Kelvin Mooring, 47, of Fremont went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory with the Reverend Ricky Sullivan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Those in attendance, are asked to please wear a face covering and practice social distancing.

Mr. Mooring was born in Wayne County on July 27, 1973 to Frances Lee Sullivan Mooring of Fremont and the late Joshua Charlie Mooring. He attended The Bridge Church in Princeton.

In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his wife, Karen Williamson Mooring; one son, Matthew Alexander Mooring and one daughter, Madelyn Grace Mooring both of the home; two brothers, Chris Mooring and wife, Angie of Saulston and Michael Mooring of Eureka and several aunts and uncles and other relatives and close friends.
