Obituary
Mary Margaret “Peggy” Davis, 93, of Goldsboro went to be with her Lord Thursday morning, January 19, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2 until 3 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mary was born in New Hampshire on May 5, 1929 to the late George and Beatrice Trottier Longfellow. Mary loved to do woodwork and was always giving her work of art to family and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro.
Mary was survived by her daughter, Audrey Wise and her grandchildren, Heather (Joshua) Chamberlin and their three children, Gage, Taylor and Tyler; Amanda (Benjamin) Honeycutt and their four children, Summer, Katie, Natalee and Dylan; Alaina (Andrew) Rawson and their son, Sebastian; Brian (Ida) Rohrbacher and their five children, Christopher, Jacob, Benjamin, Max and Rebecca; Jill (Timothy) Pinkerton and their two children, Addison and Quinton; and Michael (Elisha) Rohrbacher and their daughter, Margaret Mary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis and her daughter, Lois Bossert.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
