Mary M. (Warters) Gray

Mary M. Gray, 91, of Goldsboro passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Pink Hill.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Gray was born in Greene County on September 23, 1929 to the late Tobias and Margaret Johnson Warters.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Goldsboro.

She is survived by two sons, Lloyd Robert Gray Jr. and wife, Faye of Kenly and Durwood Glenn Gray and wife, Jocelyn of Goldsboro; one daughter, Linda Carol Turner of Pink Hill; two brothers, John Walker Waters of Goldsboro and Linwood Waters and wife, Kaye of Grantham; one sister, Pauline Parks of LaGrange; seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Robert Gray; two daughters, Ann Best and Kaye Bridgers; one grandson, three great-grand children; one brother-in-law, Joe Parks and one son-in-law, Harold Turner;.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
