Mark Prazak, 62, of Goldsboro passed away at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro. The family will greet friends following the service.
Mark was born in Illinois on February 27, 1959 to the late Raymond William Prazak and Gail Prazak. He had a master’s degree in Chemistry at Wright State University. Mark had a Batchelor’s of Science in Nursing at Florida Gulf Coast University. He worked at UF Health Shands Hospital of Florida and enjoyed being a traveling nurse. Mark enjoyed scuba diving, riding his bicycles, playing games, his computer, cellphone and play station. He also enjoyed watching movies on Netflix and playing games with his family. Mark was retired from the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Gina Prazak; his son, Anthony Tyler Prazak of the home; one brother, Matthew Prazak and wife, Linda of New Mexico and their son, Aaron Prazak of Texas and one sister, Lorene Cooper and husband, Don of West Virginia.
