Marie Taylor Obituary

Marie Taylor, 88, of Goldsboro departed this earthly life Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

No formal service will be held.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Tennessee on September 12, 1935 to the late Marion and Mosella Cliff Morton.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories three daughters, Diana Mitchell and husband, Ricky of Goldsboro, Bobby Miller and husband, Robert of Illinois and Kanetha Taylor of Alabama; special daughter, Chris Ivy of Illinois; son, Terry Taylor of Illinois; son-in-law, Antonio Carte of Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Thelma Carter and her siblings.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
