Margaret Ann Rasch

Margaret “Marge” Ann Rasch, 95, of the Rosewood Community passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation on her birthday.

She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Robert Walter Rasch; five brothers and her infant sister.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Roberta Jean “Bobbi” Stanford and husband, Jimmie Lee Stanford Jr.

The daughter of a coal miner and born in Pennsylvania, she spent many years in Maple Heights, Ohio with her husband Bob, working as a telephone operator before becoming a full time volunteer at Maple Heights Senior Center.

In recent years, she lived with her daughter Bobbi and husband, Jim who served as caregivers.

She loved her dog, Max and cat, Teddy, who were her companions.

The family wants to thank the physicians who cared for Margaret which includes Dr. Bahman Malekpour and assistant Lori, Dr. Daniel Poole and nurse, Paula and also the entire staff of Kenansville Health and Rehabilitation Center who provided her with excellent long term care until the end.

No services will be held per Margaret’s wishes.
