Mae Gloria Lucas, 89, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Raleigh.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lucas was born in Wayne County on September 18, 1934 to the late William and Lola Raynor Sauls.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Sauls and Levonza Speight Jr. and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Levonza Speight and Avon Lucas.
