Mack "Buddy" Carter Jr., 65, of Fremont passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
Better known as Buddy Carter, he was born December 7, 1958 in Wayne County, North Carolina to the late Mack Carter and Clydia Lamb Carter. He was the second oldest of five siblings, Rose Rose, Charles Craig Carter, Mark Carter and the late Gail Carter.
In addition to his siblings, he is survived by his four sons, Mack Carter, Daniel Carter, Noah Carter and Evan Evans; daughter, Jeannie Johnston and several grandchildren. He was a loving brother and devoted Father to his children.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
