Lynn Sasser King

On December 18, 2019, Surrounded by her family, Lynn Sasser King peacefully passed to her heavenly home.  She was 73 years old. 

Lynn was born on June 2, 1946 to the late Alma Cobb.  Although she grew up in Princeton, she called Kenly home.  She retired from TA in Kenly in accounting, but her favorite job was spending time with her family and spoiling her four granddaughters, Summer, Kayla, Brooke & Grayson.  Lynn was a loving, devoted mother who loved to laugh and loved the Lord.  She was a member of United in Christ Church. 

Lynn is survived by her husband, Buddy King; her two children, Roy Sasser, Jr. (wife Tammy, children Summer and Brooke) and Crystal Sasser (Josh Bland and children, Kayla & Grayson Fields); two siblings, Edna Edwards of Princeton and Tommy Cobb of Knightdale.  She was preceded in death by her first love, and husband, the late Roy Sasser, as well as her mother, Alma Cobb. 

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Nana & friend.  Anyone who knew her will truly miss her sweet spirit.  

Funeral service will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory of Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton.
