Lyle Jones Obituary

Lyle Gardner Jones, 80, of Goldsboro passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

No formal service will be held at this time.

Mr. Jones was born in Nevada on May 15, 1941 to the late Edwin and Melva Gardner Jones. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by three daughters, Terry Harris and husband, Mike, Deneen VanMeter and Kerry Strizic; one brother, Lavelle Jones and wife, Judy; one sister, Lorna Muir; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Elaine Smith Jones.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
