Luby Lorenzo Moore

Luby Lorenzo Moore, 70, of Mt. Olive passed away Tuesday, March 05, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at noon in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  Interment will follow at Carver Memorial Cemetery in Mount Olive.  A viewing will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore was born in Wayne County on August 17, 1948 to the late Frank and Lillie Raynor Moore. He graduated from Carver High School in Mt. Olive class of 1966. He was employed at Burlington Industries in Mt. Olive for years and later retired from Georgia Pacific in Dudley.

He leaves to cherish his memories Regina Moore of Mount Olive; his daughters, Tonya La Shan Moore of Raleigh, Veronica Moore Evans of Wendell, and Dorothy Brooks Frazier of Georgia; one sister, Nell Whitfield of Mount Olive; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and family in Clinton, NC that he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his only son, Terry Lorenzo Sr.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
