Lois Lambert Bradshaw, 84, of the Grantham community went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
In reference to COVID-19, a private graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 for family and close friends at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Dudley with entombment to follow. Viewing will be held Friday, May 1, 2020 from 3 until 4:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Bradshaw was born in Wayne County on January 21, 1936 to the late Benjamin Samuel and Erma Mae Thornton Lambert. She attended Riverside FWB Church in Princeton.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Bradshaw and wife, Donna of Grantham; one daughter, Tina Bradshaw Peele and husband, Scott of Grantham; one sister, Barbara Grady of Grantham; five grandchildren, Tabatha Bradshaw Hollingsworth (Hal), Michele Bradshaw Best (Kevin), Alyssa Bradshaw, Miles Bradshaw (Maria) and Megan Peele (Alex Brogden); five great-grandchildren, Jacob Hollingsworth (Hannah), Matthew Hollingsworth, Levi Hollingsworth, Lainey Best and Makinley Best and one great-great-grandchild, Lucas Hollingsworth.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Bradshaw and one brother, Donald Lambert.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Scott Peele, 275 Selah Church Road in the Grantham community.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
