Obituary
Lillian "Penny" Gray, 71, of Goldsboro passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at her home.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
Ms. Gray was born in Wilmington on July 10, 1951 to the late Orin Wallace and Katherine Lewis Perry. She was a member of LaGrange United Methodist Church. Ms. Gray worked with the State of North Carolina having worked for 30 years; with her retiring from Cherry Hospital in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her son, Samuel Perry Gray of Pinetown, NC; one daughter, Katherine Elaine Gray of Ayden; her significant other, Oden Ratcliff of LaGrange; one brother, Orin Wally Perry III (Allison) of LaGrange; one sister, Mena Perry of LaGrange and two grandchildren, Trexler Gray and Glory Gray.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
