Leona (White) Parker

Leona White Parker, 77, of Goldsboro departed this walk of life Monday May 30, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10 until 11:30 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Parker was born in Hoke County on November 9, 1944 to the late Isadore and Mary Deberry White. She was a retired nurse from Britthaven (Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center) in Goldsboro.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Vernon G. Parker Jr.; one son, Vernon Andre Parker of Texas; two daughters, Michelle Parker and Angela Parker, both of Goldsboro; one brother, Bob White and wife, Margaret of New Jersey; three sisters, Doretha Black Raeford and husband, Allen of Goldsboro, Mary Covington of Hope Mills and Daisy White of New Jersey; and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Willis.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
