Obituary
Leon Redding Cole, 90, of Goldsboro passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at UNC Health Wayne.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mr. Cole was born in Willard, North Carolina on March 5, 1932 to the late Edward and Mary Lilly Piner Cole. He was a veteran of the United States Army and member of Daniels Chapel in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his loving wife, Renate Cole and a daughter, Renate Diane Cole of Atlanta, Georgia.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
