Laurence "Larry" N. Hatem

Laurence "Larry" Nicholas Hatem, 82, of Goldsboro passed away Saturday morning, April 29, 2023 at home.

A small graveside service for family and friends will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park in Dudley.

Mr. Hatem was born in Massachusetts on January 11, 1941 to the late Norman A. Hatem Sr. and Blanche Moroney Hatem.

He is survived by one son, Paul Hatem; two daughters, Debra "Debbie" Williams and Karen Paynter (Richard); three brothers, Norman Hatem Jr. (Pat), Robert "Bobby" Hatem (Delores) and Ronald "Ronnie" Hatem (Kendra); four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carlene Spear Hatem and his son, Laurence "Larry" Hatem Jr.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
