Johnny Carl Wallace, 85, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro.
Homegoing service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 6 p.m. at United in Christ Church in Goldsboro. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. Entombment will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Dudley.
Mr. Wallace was born in Lenoir County on November 21, 1938 to the late Arthur Corbett and Wealthy Wallace. He was a member of United in Christ Church where he loved to sing praises to his Lord. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Wallace; his second wife, Lela Wallace; his brothers, George Wallace, Arthur Lee Wallace and A.C. Wallace; his sister, Charlotte Myers and his granddaughter, Angela Calderon.
Cherishing his memories are two sons, Gary Stone (Kathy) and Johnny Carl Wallace Jr. (Brandy); one step-son, Stephen Dudley (Cindy); one step-daughter, Debbie Douglas (Eddie); one sister, Shirley Downey (Jerry); nine grandchildren, Dwayne Stone, Shannon Stone, Seth Wallace, Caleb Wallace, Benjamin Wallace, Kenan Wallace, Seren Wallace, Jason Douglas and Miranda Spivey; his great-grandchildren; his fiancee, Linda Midkiff and his best friend, Mrs. Carol Davis
