Johnnie Lee Medlin, Jr., 51, of Magnolia passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Medlin was born in Wayne County on May 4, 1971 to Wanda Therrell Medlin and the late Johnnie Lee Medlin Sr. He was a dedicated employee with Murphy-Brown.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda T. Medlin of Dudley; four sons, Johnnie Lee Medlin III of Goldsboro, Jordan Heath Medlin of Wallace, Jesse Allen Medlin of Magnolia and Jacob Garrett Medlin of Wallace; one daughter, Savannah Lane and husband, Steven of Goldsboro; two sisters, Melissa G. Ovalle and husband, Chris of Goldsboro and Loveit Medlin of Winterville; nine grandchildren, Rylee, Emersyn, Maisyn, Olivia, Santana, Raelynne, Bentley, Ryder and Waylon; his beloved cat, Betsy and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
