John Strickland Obituary

John Emmitt Strickland, 84 of Goldsboro passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Strickland was born in Wayne County on August 5, 1935 to the late Nathan Brian and Sally Taylor Strickland.

He is survived by his wife, Dean Turner Strickland; two step-sons, Larry C. Grady of Seven Springs and Alex G. Grady of Dudley and one step-daughter, Jean S. Willoughby and husband, Jimmy of Rosewood.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
