Joanne (Conner) Holland

Joanne Conner Holland, 65, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro with her family by her side.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will receive friends following the service and other times at 108 Ash Landing in Goldsboro.  Pastor Andy Stovall will officiate.

Mrs. Holland was born in Wayne County on July 10, 1954 to the late William Carr Conner and Hilda Gray Grimes Conner. 

She is survived by one son, Michael Hoefs of Yankton, South Dakota; two daughters, Michelle Guthmiller and husband, Kevin of Yankton, South Dakota and Shannon Kennedy of Goldsboro; one brother, Bud Conner and wife, Sandra of Goldsboro; three sisters, Inez Pender of Goldsboro, Rita Hatley of New Bern and Lynn Smith of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Joshua Jensen, Brittany Kludt and Jeremiah Jensen of South Dakota, Dylan Greene of LaGrange and Austin Greene of Virginia and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her husband, Garry Holland.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
