Joanne Carol (Lenderman) Hare

Joanne Lenderman Hare, 83, passed away August 05, 2019 at the home of her daughter.

A family celebration of Joanne’s life will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Vicki Pate in Kenly.

Joanne was born in Washington State on May 05, 1936 to the late Henry Dee Lenderman and Ethel Lenderman.  She was a faithful member of Chapel by the Bay in Surf City; where she sang in the church choir and was the Youth Director.

She is survived by two sons, Don Hare and wife, Kim of Wilmington and Tim Hare and wife, Cindy of Boise, Idaho; two daughters, Linda Jay of Hampstead and Vicki Pate and husband, Steve of Kenly; a daughter-in-law, Anji Hare of Holly Ridge; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, William Bayron Hare; her brothers, Don Lenderman, Jerry Lenderman and Ken Lenderman and one sister, Joyce Lenderman.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
