Janice Marie (Pridgen) Rogers

Janice Marie Rogers, 49, of Goldsboro went to her heavenly home Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Golden Gate Cemetery in Pikeville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rogers was born in Wayne County on March 7, 1973 to the late Willie and Scarlet Ray Pridgen.

She is survived by her husband, Anwar Rogers; one son, DeAndre Mathis of Fayeteville; one daughter, Jazmine Mathis of Goldsboro; two stepdaughters, Jakia Rogers of Greenville and Jomya Rogers of Greeneville; one brother, Ronnie Wooten and wife, Felicia of Goldsboro; one sister, Angela Floyd and husband, William of Goldsboro; and one step-grandchild, Talia.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her brother, Andra Pridgen.
