Janet Hutchinson Clayton, 75, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2 until 3:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Janet was born in New York to the late John F. Hutchinson and Josephine (Grasso) Hutchinson on March 4, 1949. 

She is survived by one son, John Dundon and wife, Jen of New York; one sister, Joyce Price and husband, Tony of Florida; her brother-in-law, Tommy O’Connell of Goldsboro, North Carolina; five grandchildren, John, Nikolas, Christopher, Olivia and Zack; special Aunt and Uncle, Rosemarie and Gregory Longo; her life long best friend, Karen “Tom” Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joanne Hutchinson O’Connell.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
