James Harvey Brown

James Harvey "Buddy" Brown, 80, of Pikeville passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 21, 2021 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Mr. Brown was born in Wayne County on September 10, 1940 to the late Elijah and Rittie Sykes Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Delphia Taylor Brown; two daughters, Teresa Flowers of Pikeville and Tammy Keesler of Pikeville; one brother, Howard Brown of Eureka; three sisters, Letha Head of Goldsboro, Virginia Lee of Goldsboro and Sara Ann Bryant and husband, Steve of Angier; three grandchildren, Stephanie Flowers, Mark Flowers and Joshua Keesler and five great-grandchildren, Jaida Moore, Niia Moore, Mena Moore, Damien Artis and Lily Flowers.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
