Isaac "Jack" Person Jr.

Isaac “Jack” Person Jr., 84, of Pikeville passed away Monday evening, October 2, 2023 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.

Jack was born in Wayne County on November 1, 1938 and was a veteran of the United States Army. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Maxine Person; his daughter, Jackie Person (Andrew Clark); his son, Mark Person; one stepson, Donovan Dudley (Yolanda); two brothers, Larry Person (Flora) and Thomas Person; four grandchildren, Skylar Clark, Tristen Dudley, Reed Dudley and Nikki Person and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Savannah.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Person and Ricky Person; his stepson, William Earl Dudley; three brothers, Gene, David and Bill Person and four sisters, Grace, Linda, Evelyn and Hilda.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
