Helen Lee Coley Davis, 95, of Goldsboro departed this earthly life Monday, December 11, 2023 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro.

Viewing will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Davis Family Cemetery, located on Stoney Creek Church Road in Goldsboro.

Mrs. Davis was born in Wayne County on September 19, 1928 to the late Herbert and Mollie Best Coley. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Cleveland A. Davis Jr. and wife, Shennett of Pikeville; four grandchildren, Juanita Davis, Shannon Davis, Charnece Davis and Aaron Davis; three great-grandchildren, Trinity, Mckenzie and Greysen and her sister-in-law, Mabel Coley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John E. Coley and two sisters, Ethelene King and Lila Belle.
