Geraldine Thompson, 93, of Pikeville passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at home.
Due to the continue rise in covid cases, a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11 a.m. on Zoom.
Geraldine, along with her late husband, James Aaron Thompson, Jr., served over 70 years as a special full-time minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She graduated from the Gilead School for Missionary Service. She and her late husband served as foreign missionaries in Guyana, South America for 26 years before settling down in Pikeville in 1995. She will be forever missed by the Goldsboro congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Among her survivors is her sister, Mozelle McGee and a host of other relatives and close friends. She will be deeply missed by her spiritual family all over the world.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
