Frank Lee Davis Jr.

Frank Lee Davis Jr., 67, of Goldsboro passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at noon in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with military honors. Viewing will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory.

Frank was born in Wayne County on January 1, 1956 to the late Frankie Davis Sr. and Elizabeth Hicks Davis.  He was a veteran of the United States Army. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Dawne Garrett Davis; one son, Frankie Raimonda Davis; three daughters, Deneshea Davis-Philadelphia, Beula Davis and Tiffany Davis-Gray; one step-son, Christian McCall; one step-daughter, Crissie McCall; one brother, Charles Hicks and wife, Renee; three sisters, Judy Davis, Camelia Worrell and Vicky Harper; five grandchildren, Kenneth, Sharia, Jesiyah, Julian and Asher; one great-grandchild, Kennedy; one god-child; one aunt, Virginia Lois Craddock; one uncle, Roland Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Assistant Pastor Joan King and Pastor Shirley Pigford.
