Frances Lee Sullivan Mooring, 79, of Fremont received her ultimate healing Saturday, October 19, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.

Homegoing service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at Pikeville Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Mooring was born in Greene County on September 11, 1945 to the late George Benjamin and Ella Frances Hall Sullivan. She worshipped at Fremont Holiness Church and retired from AP Parts.

She is survived by her son, Chris Mooring (Angie) of Goldsboro; daughter-in-law, Karen Mooring of Fremont; four brothers, Reverend Ricky Sullivan (Debbie) of Pikeville, Buddy Sullivan (Barbara) of Pikeville, Billy Sullivan (Kathy) of Fremont and Tony Sullivan of Fremont; sister-in-law, Connie Sullivan of Pikeville; two sisters, Debbie Hardison of Fremont and Brenda Sullivan of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Tyler Mooring (Kristina), Cameron Mooring, Alex Mooring and Maddie Mooring and her great-grandchildren, Elliott and Millie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kelvin Mooring and her brother, Al Sullivan.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
